A hedgehog will typically move around while looking for food (usually at night). The distances can range from 1 to 3 miles. If this seems like a lot for a small little hedgehod, then it should be nothing for you to come down to our local meet and greet. Learn about these fascinating creatures and if you are even more courageous, try and pet one. We promise they won't bite (although they may prick :) just kidding!).
For information and directions, please visit www.hedgehogstreet.org. We also want to thank hedgehogstreet, as well as www.wildliferoundup.com for generously sponsoring these events. If you are interested in being part of the events or volunteering, then please send contact information in our contact us page. We would love to hear from any of you! We are currently reaching the maximum amount of visitors that we can have at the event, so we are thinking of moving to a new location soon. Over the last year or so we have grown quite a bit due to our various Facebook groups and other forums that we have been actively participating in. Due to this, a larger area is exactly what we need to grow more with the community. And with a new, bigger location, we will also need to upp our staff more. So, do not be shy. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people who share your love for hedghehogs. Other than that, you will also get to hang out with the many hedgehods all day long; what could be better! If you have any ideas about activities for the events, then don't be afraid to drop us a line on our social media pages or even through the contact form that we listed above. Sharing is caring!
